The Jordanian Chefs’ Association (JCA), an unprofitable association whose main purpose is to organize events and create exposure and recognition of the profession to the public in Jordan. JCA got the official governmental recognition license on the 30th of December 2013 & WACS membership on the 2nd of February 2014.
- To improve the culinary standing of Jordan in the world (WACS, Competition)
- To provide educational opportunities for Jordanian chefs (short course, seminars, product exhibition to improve food safety and food hygiene, local food)
- To assist chefs in restaurant, campsites and hotels to reach knowledge and recognition that allows them to progress to different positions (ranking system)
- To foster social interaction among its members and to strengthen ties with other international chef association’s trough publications and social media
